Situated on the coast between Cannes and Nice, Antibes is an enchanting medieval fisherman’s village that is steeped in history and culture. The old town is surrounded by ancient ramparts and the Chateau Grimaldi, dating back to the 10th century, has been transformed into the Picasso museum where Picasso himself used to paint. The village is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, full of charm and life with museums, shops, bars and restaurants. There are beautiful sandy beaches that dot the coastline surrounding the ancient village all the way to Juan les Pins. Cap d’Antibes is the peninsula that juts out from Antibes and is often referred to as the millionaire’s bay. View our proposed itinerary for a week in Antibes.
