This beautiful 19th century chateau is situated in the charming hillside town of Grasse only minutes from the world-renowned perfumeries. The chateau has been coined “Le Petit Versailles” and is a historical monument, built by a famous perfumer.
At the turn of the century, Queen Victoria of England also took up residence at the chateau where it has been documented she enjoyed long walks in the gardens and the panoramic views. The present owners have carefully refurbished this impressive villa to a very high standard while remaining true to its 19th century origins and royal history.
This holiday villa offers a serene, palatial feel with its luxurious finishes, modern amenities, and commanding views over the bay of Cannes and Grasse. Nestled within 3 hectares of land, the chateau offers 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, grand ballroom, a library, and indoor pool. The home offers high ceilings and is spacious and bright with natural light. There are beautiful one of a kind handcrafted hardwood floors and magnificent crystal chandeliers throughout.
There is a large flat garden area between the grand ballroom and lovely pergola and room to park up to 60 cars comfortably. This French Baroque style chateau offers a romantic and opulent backdrop for a wedding or special event. This luxury chateau features 2 beautiful en-suite salons that can accommodate up to 130 people: The “Grand Ballroom” and the “Dining Room”. In addition, there is the library that can host up to 30 people, perfect for corporate meetings or seminars.
Moreover, the unique indoor pool spa area is available for parties up to 60 people.
Mougins is situated 15 minutes from the center of Cannes and its beaches. Mougins is a picturesque medieval village that has been frequented and inhabited by many artists and celebrities, including Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau, Yves Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Winston Churchill, Édith Piaf and Jacques Brel, to name but a few. Mougins also has a strong culinary history with great chefs including Roger Vergé and Alain Ducasse having managed restaurants in the village. To finalize your booking, you must pay a deposit corresponding to 50% of the rent.
Deposit payment must be made within 48 hours of accepting the rental agreement.
The balance of rental and damage deposit must be paid no later than 60 days prior to arrival date.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card via Stripe (upon request).
All payments are non-refundable.
An additional refundable damage deposit is required for this property.
