Part of the legendary Carlton Hotel, Carlton Beach Club was the first private beach inaugurated in Cannes in 1930. In 1954, Alfred Hitchcock chose this beach for the shooting of an initial scene of his classic romantic thriller “To Catch A Thief”, starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. Today, the luxurious hotel and its private beach maintains its status as a hot spot for celebrities, aristocrats and politicians.
