Best for dining with a view: La Dame de Pic – Le 1920

La Dame de Pic – Le 1920 is a restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Megève. Dine under the vaulted wooden ceiling or have lunch al fresco overlooking the panoramic alpine views.

Executive chef Anne-Sophie Pic, the world’s most decorated Michelin-starred female chef, reimagines a culinary experience with Savoyard produce and her signature innovative and unexpected flavour combinations.

Several signature dishes on the menu include the Alpine Lamb that is marinated with gastache, lemon balm, elixir, red peppers and seaweed and, for dessert, the White Millefeuille with leatherwood honey, eucalyptus jelly and cassis.

Best for award winning fondue: Le Restaurant Alpin

The Restaurant Alpin at Les Fermes de Marie boasts a fondue that was awarded ‘best fondue in Megève’ at the 2nd edition of the gastronomic event Toquicimes. The competition’s jury panel included restaurant professionals and “meilleurs ouvriers de France” cheese makers.

The menu offers a selection of fondues developed by Frédéric Royer, a master cheese monger of Fromagerie Boujon. In addition, the menu offers a delicious variety of local specialities from traditional raclette to the péla des Aravis, a rich potato dish.

At Restaurant Alpin you will rediscover authentic and delicious flavours typical to mountain cuisine. In addition to raclette and a variety of fondues, menu highlights include duck terrine, pumpkin soup with truffle cream, rustic blueberry tart and Savoie sponge cake.

Best for Michelin dining experience: Flocons de Sel ***

This three star Michelin restaurant, Flocons de Sel, is a unique setting for a romantic dinner, a convivial lunch with friends or a memorable family meal. This gastronomic restaurant has refined and elevated the authentic way of mountain life.

Executive chef Emmanuel Renaut serves a cuisine that is as subtle as it is innovative. The exceptional natural setting, the unique atmosphere, the spirit of the cuisine, the Chef’s creativity and the quality of service all take part in having this dining establishment truly stand out.

Best for meat lovers: The Beef Lodge

The Beef Lodge is glamorous and sumptuous in design, a perfect place to dine during summer or winter. This steak house offers a selection of ultra-tender or candied meats as well as a rare selection that can be chosen from the menu or from their butcher’s stall.

The grilled meat is smoked with different types of wood, marinated, or cooked at a low temperature for more than 70 hours before being put in their Argentinean oven for a mouth-watering delight.

The signature dishes at The Beef Lodge includes the Beef Picanha served with a subtle Béarnaise sauce, the Beef Tomahawk marinated and flambéed with Jack Daniel’s Honey, the T-Bone, the L-Bone and of course the Prime Rib. As for sides, we highly recommend the mac and cheese or truffle purée.
